Professional information may include rank, employment history, sea service, vessel-type experience, years in rank, references and availability. Certification and maritime documents may include Certificate of Competency, STCW certificates, seaman’s book, Flag endorsements, tanker endorsements and training records. Identification and travel documents may include passport, visa information and travel documentation. Medical information may be sensitive personal data and should only be collected where relevant and lawful.

Information may be used for candidate assessment, qualification verification, experience review, matching candidates with vessel requirements, vacancy communications, mobilisation planning, compliance checks, recruitment administration and record keeping.
